The MCU’s phase 4 has just begun, but the hunt for the next avengers has already started. After the climactic final battle in Avengers: Endgame, it’s unclear which of our favorite superheroes are still active.

The defeat of the mad titan was a necessity and a neat way to wrap up a twelve-year-long story, but there’s still a lot of room for growth in the MCU. Here are some of the Avengers that you should look forward to in future MCU films!

Shang-Chi

Seeing the master of martial arts get the hype that it deserves is nothing less than satisfying. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is arguably Marvel’s best standalone film in the entire franchise. With stunning visuals, masterful fight choreography, and a stellar lead, it’s safe to say that everyone will be looking forward to its sequel.

Simu Liu’s heart and charisma while playing the character will fit right into the energy that the MCU has always been known for. It’s only a matter of time before the culture-rich magical world of Shang-Chi crosses paths with the Avengers.

She-Hulk

The Avengers are in desperate need of a power-up. With Thor and Captain Marvel off-world protecting the galaxy and the Hulk being permanently damaged after the snap, She-Hulk is more than welcome to take up a slot in the roster!

The addition of Jennifer Walters, better known as She-Hulk, will further solidify the strength and diversity of the new Avengers lineup.

The Fantastic Four

These Avengers are a package deal. The Fantastic Four—composed of Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm, are set to make their big-screen appearance in Phase 4 of the MCU.

Details on what their movie will be about haven’t been revealed yet, but that won’t stop fans from theorizing and getting excited to see their favorite heroes be put into action!

Jane Foster’s Thor

Everything from merchandise, behind-the-scenes footage, and even concept art tied to Thor: Love and Thunder portray Thor wielding Stormbreaker, while Jane Foster wields the iconic hammer Mjolnir. While Thor deals with Gorr the God Butcher, Jane becomes Earth’s representative for the congress of worlds.

An all-new Thor is a welcome addition to the MCU’s Avengers lineup, and we can’t wait to see Natalie Portman’s electrifying performance in the up-and-coming movie.

New Captain America

With Steve Rogers hanging up the mantle of Captain America and passing it onto Sam Wilson, formerly known as the Falcon, fans are skeptical whether the new Captain America can be as big a symbol as the former.

Having a proper moral compass in a team full of aliens and superpowered individuals that can conquer the world is crucial, and that’s a role that Sam has proven to us that he can do in the last series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Kamala Khan is a staple young Avenger that everyone knows and loves. We’ll be seeing this bright Avenger in a future TV series as Ms. Marvel and a 2020 movie alongside Brie Larson called The Marvels.

With this much screentime, you can’t miss Ms. Marvel!

Ironheart

Every new lineup of Avengers needs a tech genius. Though there are a few geniuses in the Avengers lineup, they pale compared to Riri Williams and her craftiness. For those who don’t already know, Riri Williams is a 15-year-old MIT student that built her own Iron Man suit inspired by none other than Tony Stark.

Phase 4 has just started, and Marvel is already planting the seeds for the brilliant superheroes to be released for Phase 5. With this many amazing films being planned to release in the future, it’s safe to say that the MCU isn’t going to be dying anytime soon!
