With the rise of online streaming services like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney Plus, and HBO Max, shows and TV series are made and published at a much higher rate and higher quality.

Being at the forefront of the online streaming service industry, HBO Max is expected to release top-quality movies and TV shows. In this video, we’ll be listing down 6 of the best, most interesting TV Shows in HBO Max that you definitely need to watch.

Titans

Starting out with a gritty and much more adult take on the DC Universe comics Teen Titans, the HBO Max TV show initially drew flak for its casting but has since regained a solid following because of the way it portrayed the characters on screen.

Just as expected of a superhero series, it’s able to stand on its own ground in terms of plot, acting, writing, and delivery. If there’s one take-away, however, it’s the fact that sometimes the CGI looks great, and sometimes it looks like it’s from a superhero movie in the early 2000s. Nevertheless, Titans is an interesting show if you’re in it for a unique retelling of an already solid franchise.

The Flight Attendant

The Flight Attendant, starring Kaley Cuoco, who gained prominence after her role as Bridget Hennessy on 8 Simple Rules and Penny in The Big Bang Theory, is a 2020 TV show revolving around a flight attendant who goes on alcohol-fueled dates. The tale takes a turn when she ends up dating a mysterious first-class passenger one night.

She wakes up the next morning, and she finds the passenger dead and covered in blood. The murder and mystery elements of the show, alongside a relatively unique plot and set of characters, call for an interesting watch.

His Dark Material

Based on the same name book, His Dark Material is looking to solidify itself as one of the most interesting fantasy shows on television. The story has a good cast with actors like James McAvoy, Dafne Keen, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and it definitely shows in the acting.

In line with the trilogy of books, the television series begins with a brave young woman from another world searching for a kidnapped friend. In the process, they uncover a scheme involving stolen children and Dust, something rumored to be evidence of the original sin.

Watchmen

Another comic book adaptation, Watchmen, based on the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons graphic novel, is an exciting and impressive take on vigilantes, racism, and superhero morals.

The television series’ plot takes place 34 years after the original story with white supremacists attacking the local police department. Law is then passed that allows cops to hide their identities behind masks, and our story begins. Watchmen is heralded as one of the best superhero TV shows from 2019.

Gomorrah

This Italian Crime and Drama television series has already had four seasons, which means that it already has a solid fan base and good critic scores. However, this crime drama is more than just that.

Gomorrah is set in Naples, Italy, and revolves around the Camorra, a Neopolitan crime organization led by Pietro Savastano. Overall, it sets itself apart from most Gangster series in terms of production and writing.

Raised By Wolves

With just the plot itself, Raised By Wolves already merits itself worth watching. The Sci-fi series explores the story of two androids who are tasked with raising human children on a faraway planet after humans destroyed earth.

In a story about religion, conflict, personal interests, and the interesting question of just how much Artificial Intelligence can do, Ridley Scott are able to pull off quite a feat. Raised By Wolves is dropping the second season of February 3, and it’s definitely a deserved one.

Television shows have definitely taken a turn in the last few years, and their progress is becoming more and more interesting as more shows are made and released.
