As we all probably know now, Certified Pop Superstar Ariana Grande is now married to her fiance and partner for over a year, Real Estate Agent Dalton Gomez. From a very low-key relationship to an engagement during the holidays, and finally to an even more low-key and intimate wedding, the couple’s relationship has been somewhat less “Hollywood” than most stars.
In this video, we’ll be talking about everything fans need to know about Ari’s intimate wedding, from the Instagram post that told the world Miss Grande was no longer a miss to the simple yet beautiful wedding dress, and of course, the actual wedding.
The Music Video, The Instagram Post, and Where it All Started
Before getting married, Ariana and Dalton were both a very low-key couple that had managed to escape the public eye during most of their relationship online, being spotted occasionally, with the first one being back in march 2020 when the couple was spotted kissing in a bar.
The next time they appeared was during their first-ever “official” public appearance together was when they appeared together in Justin Bieber’s quarantine music video for the song “Stuck with U.”
It was only in December when the pair announced through Instagram that they were ready to tie the knot by posting on Instagram a couple of photos with her and Dalton captioned with “Forever n then some.” Of course, the highlight of this IG post was the stunningly beautiful photos of her oval-cut diamond and white pearl engagement ring.
Of course, there seems to be something with Instagram as the couple’s announcement of getting married was also made there. Although the marriage took place back on May 15, it was only on May 26 when the singer song-writer first showed photos from their private wedding that photographer Stefan Kohli took
The Wedding Look
Made by fashion designer Vera Wang, the strapless silk gown that’s simple yet chic made rounds on Instagram as posted by Ari herself. The wedding dress is a corset-style bodice and dipped with an open back, most likely taking inspiration from most of Riri’s styles. She went ahead with a veil featuring a bow embellishment that definitely screams Ariana Grande to top off the look.
For Ariana’s accessories, she went with the classic pearl-and-diamond drop earrings in line with her engagement ring that also featured a beautiful pearl. Ari’s look was also kept simple, like the wedding. She opted for blush and nude palette and chose a muted bridal manicure to top it all off.
The Wedding
The esteemed wedding was private, with only less than 20 people attending, including the family from both sides. Despite the low number of people present, Ari says that the room was happy and full of love.
The wedding took place in their home in Montecito, California. The couple says they chose the place because they love it and that they spent a lot of time there together during the first months of the pandemic. It seemed only natural that they would get married at the beautiful and historic house.
As for the families, both sides are in agreement when they say that Dalton has been great for Ari and vice versa. According to an insider, their family was very happy with their engagement and were much happier with the wedding pushing through. “This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful in a good way. They are very happy that she is marrying Dalton.” A family member says.
