There are more easter eggs and minor details in the 4th season of Stranger Things than we can count, so here are 5 more things you may have missed in Stranger Things season 4.

1. Freddy Kreuger

First on this list is an interesting easter egg placed in the video store where Steve and Robin work. A life-size cut-out of Freddy Kreuger, the dream demon, can be seen in one of the scenes where the store entrance is shown.

Interestingly enough, Robert Englund, the actor Freddy Kreuger, also plays old Victor Creel, one of the freakiest additions to the cast of Stranger Things.

2. Star Wars: Episode V

In an homage to a similar scene in Star Wars: Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back, and Stranger Things pays tribute to one of the most iconic sci-fi revolutionaries.

In the movie, Han Solo is steering the Millenium Falcon through an asteroid field while C-3PO tries to tell him his chances of survival, to which he replies: “Never tell me the odds.” Dustin says the same thing to his buddies while speaking at the Hellfire Club.

3. The Clock Noise

People may think that the clock noise we’re frequently exposed to in Season 4 is fairly new, but we already had a scene in the previous season. We hear the clock noise in episode 2 of season 3, where it began chiming when Billy went to the Upside Down after the Mind Flayer possessed him.

This implies that Vecna wasn’t just a convenient insert villain but a thought-out addition for the finale.

4. Will’s Birthday

After some fans pointed it out, Will’s birthday became a point of discussion after people realized that the date—as mentioned by Joyce in Season 2—was March 22, the same day Mike arrives at Lenora.

Nobody on the show greets him, not even Jonathan or Joyce. Some speculate that they all forgot, but new reports say that the writers acknowledged that they just forgot about it.

5. Eleven’s Note

Eleven’s note is a reminder of the attention to detail that writers take. In the note Eleven leaves for Mike before going to the NINA project, she signs it with “From, El” instead of “Love,” which is an indicator of how Eleven currently sees their relationship—especially after their arguments early on.
