Now that J-lo is engaged with the person we were hoping she would be married to 20 years ago, fans can’t help but look back at all her partners after and before Ben Affleck.
February 1997 – Ojani Noa
Noa isn’t as famous as the rest of the actress’ partners, but he was the first she married. They met while she was filming Blood and Wine and got married. However, the marriage was short-lived after they divorced only 11 months later, in January 1998.
1999 – Diddy
In the industry, Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, was the next one. They met on a music video set and ended up dating for two years before splitting up in 2001. The two maintain a warm friendship, and Diddy has said that she was without a doubt one of his great loves.
September 2001 – Cris Judd
Lopez met Cris Judd, who was a dancer on the set of her “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” music video. In September, they tied the knot but broke up just less than a year later in June 2002.
November 2002 – Ben Affleck
Fans loved them a lot, but they never got married. They first laid eyes on each other on the set of Gigli and became one of the hottest pairs at the time. The Jenny from the Block music video for Lopez, which featured Ben Affleck, is still one of her biggest songs to date.
They called off the wedding four days before it was supposed to happen and split up in January of 2004. We would go on to hear nothing but speculations about their relationship until 17 years later.
June 2004 – Marc Anthony
Marc Anthony is the longest to have been married to Jennifer Lopez. After they were married in 2004, they welcomed twins Max and Emme in 2008. However, they broke up in 2011, but she still maintains a civil relationship out of respect because he is their children’s father.
November 2011 – Casper Smart
After Anthony, she started dating Casper Smart, a dancer who worked with her on several projects. They dated for five years, and the two have no hard feelings toward each other.
December 2016 – Drake
Although it’s forgettable, at one time, the God’s Plan rapper and Jenny from the Block actually dated each other. They dated for a few months before calling it quits.
February 2017 – Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez, a former Yankee, came close to getting married to Lopez, but they eventually released a joint statement saying that they realized they were better as friends and looked forward to remaining so.
Present – Ben Affleck
After 17 years, Beniffer finally came back, and it’s looking to stay for good. JLo is currently engaged to the actor, and she dons a beautiful green diamond ring to signify the engagement.
